Welcome to the homepage of Prof. Samar Safi-Harb's group. We are part of the Physics and Astronomy Department at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. Our research focuses on high-energy studies of the remnants of supernova explosions, namely neutron stars and supernova remnants.
Shown here are images of remnants seen with NASA's Chandra X-ray observatory.

Our research is currently funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada, the Canada Research Chairs program, and the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI).
