16.280 is an observational astronomy course offered through the Department of Physics and
Astronomy at
at the University of
Manitoba. We each observe one object over the course of the year
picked
according to criteria for brightness, size and whether it is
observable with our camera during class time for a specific range
of dates. We take our own images using a 40cm telescope and a ST6 ccd
camera, process them and analyze them ourselves. Note: this is a work
in progress
Also take the time to view my
co-conspirator's (aka.
classmate's) webpage
